Your microdermabrasion treatment should not be uncomfortable. Microdermabrasion has low risk and rapid recovery. It is painless and requires no needles or anaesthesia. Microdermabrasion can help improve the skin appearance by reducing fine lines, early sun damage, and mild, shallow acne marks.
Common side effects of microdermabrasion include mild tenderness, swelling, and redness. These generally go away within a few hours after treatment. You might be advised to use a moisturiser to minimise dry and flaky skin. Always wear sunscreen after any microdermabrasion treatment.
